She has extensive experience in the biotechnological, microbiological, biochemical and pharmaceutical patent field.
Career
Studied biology at the Universities of Düsseldorf, Germany and Valencia, Spain, graduating in plant molecular biology and microbiology. Doctoral thesis in 2006 at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, University of Freiburg, Germany in the field of protein assembly of the cytochrome oxidase in pathogenic bacteria. After seven years in private practice, five of them as head of the patent department in the Asian office of a French IP Law firm, she gained ample in-house experience in the fast moving consumer goods as well as pharmaceutical business during her eight years as a Senior IP counsel in two German MNCs before joining HOFFMANN EITLE in 2021. European Patent Attorney since 2010 and German Patent Attorney since 2018.
