She did her PhD thesis on the development of non-genetic risk factors (such as gut microbiota, diabetes and obesity) in inflammation and pancreatic cancer, at the National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) Laboratory and as a result of her work, she is the author of several scientific publications.
Career:
Irene Millán holds a degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology. Irene is also an Industrial Property Agent since mid-2024.
She studied Biology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2011-2015) including one of the years at Imperial College London. She also studied a Master in Bioscience and Applied Biotechnologies in London at Imperial College London (2015-2016). In addition, Irene completed her PhD thesis (2017-2022) specialising in Molecular Biology at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO).
She has been working with us at Hoffmann Eitle since March 2023.
