Career
Studied biology at the University of Granada, Spain including a research internship at Loyola University, Chicago, USA. She received the “Extraordinary Prize” for her degree.
She obtained a Master and PhD in biomedicine from the National Centre for Biotechnology (CNB-CSIC) and “Universidad Autónoma de Madrid”, Spain. She also served an internship at the Academic Medical Centre in The Netherlands. Her thesis is focused on the development of vaccine candidates, in particular based on viral, DNA and protein vectors, against infectious diseases.
She also obtained a Master of Business Administration from ALITER business school, focused on Biotechnological companies, and is a certified expert in Leadership for Women.
